Thomas Johnson
CEO
Thomas, a 55-year-old programmer from the US, first started investing in Bitcoin back in 2015, buying 30 coins just for fun. In 2017, he came up with the idea that he could profit not only from the cryptocurrency's growth but also from price differences on crypto exchanges.
He started digging into exchanges and noticed something strange: in December 2017, Bitcoin was trading on Bitfinex and Bittrex with a difference of almost $2,000 at the same time.
Thomas wrote a simple Python script that bought on one exchange and sold on the other. In the first three days, he earned $8,000 with a deposit of $50,000. From that point on, arbitrage trading became his main activity.
Having gained experience and built a strong team, the idea of creating a trust management project for the cryptocurrency market emerged.
